Important Note regarding data processing in connection with Google Analytics™
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the responsible body for the data processing that occurs via this website has their basis outside of the European Economic area and Switzerland, then the associated Google Analytics data processing is carried out by Google LLC. Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. will hereinafter be referred to as “Google”. As concerns the use of Google Analytics, the data processing in this respect is technically provided by Jimdo. In that regard, reference is hereby made to the Jimdo Privacy Policy. Jimdo GmbH (Jimdo GmbH, Stresemannstrasse 375, 22761 Hamburg, [email protected]) and the operator of this website share a joint responsibility for the data processing in connection with Google Analytics on this website.
Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files saved on the site visitor’s computer, to help the website analyze their use of the site. The information generated by the cookie (including the truncated ip address) about the use of the website will normally be transmitted to and stored by Google.
Google Analytics is used exclusively with the extension "_anonymizeIp ()" on this website. This extension ensures an anonymization of the IP address by truncation and excludes a direct personal reference. Via this extension Google truncates the site visitor’s IP address within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The IP address, that is provided by the site visitor’s browser in using Google Analytics will not be merged by Google with other data from Google.
On behalf of Jimdo and the site operator, Google will use the information collected to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other website and internet related services to Jimdo and the site operator (Art. 6 (1)( f) GDPR). The legitimate interest in data processing lies in the optimization of this website, the analysis of the use of the website and the adaptation of the content, which is made possible by the provision of the Jimdo statistics function. The interests of the users are adequately protected by the pseudonymization of their data.
Google LLC has certified their compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and thereby provides a guarantee to comply with European data protection law. The data sent and linked to the Google Analytics cookies, e.g. user IDs or advertising IDs will be automatically deleted after 50 months. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached is carried out automatically, once a month.
The website visitor may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in their browser. 2.0 The Personal Data We Collect
We may collect the following personal data about you:
2.1 - personal data you provide to us via our site, including information that you provide by filling in forms on our site. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site and when you make purchases from our site. For example:
- your first and last name;
- your billing and delivery postal address, phone, and email;
- your user name and chosen password.
2.2 - personal data you provide when you enter a competition or promotion sponsored by us, and/or when you report a problem with our site;
2.3 - we may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them;
2.4 - details of transactions you carry out through our site and of the fulfilment of your orders;
2.5 - details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access;
2.6 - information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual;

2.8 - personal data you provide when you request our marketing material or email newsletter or submit a query to us or which is collected via social media;
2.9 - personal data you provide when using interactive features of our site, such as Skin diagnostics; and
2.10 - personal data you provide when apply for a job advertised or submit a speculative job application and/or your CV.
2.11 - We will share your personal data with the following recipients:
- SagePay – and PayPal – to process payments made on our site;
- TNT/FedEx, STARTRACK, DHL, AUSPOST, in relation to order fulfillment and delivery services;

2.13- We will only hold your personal data for so long as is necessary for us to do so, however because this depends in each case on how each of our customers interact with us, we keep the length of time that we hold your personal data for under review.
2.14 - Why should you provide us with personal data?
2.15 - Please be aware that we do need to use certain of your personal data in order to fulfill our contractual obligations to you and to provide you with the goods and services you have elected to receive. If you do not provide it then we may not be able to perform the contract to the level you expect or at all. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further details.
2.16 - Payment transactions are made using payments providers. All credit/debit card transactions on our site are processed using a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details and cannot be accessed by us.
2.17 - We do not store credit card details, nor share them with third parties.
2.18 - In some instances we may not obtain your consent to our processing of your personal data and instead we can rely on another lawful basis in order to do so. This is how we use your personal data and what the current legislation allows in this respect:
2.19 - In order to perform our contractual obligations to you. This would include our fulfilling orders you have placed for goods or services, contacting you in relation to any issues with your order or where we need to provide your personal data to our service providers (e.g. our courier company). This processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract which you have entered into, or where you request us to process your data prior to entering into a contract.
2.20 - In order to comply with our own legal obligations or to assist in an investigation (e.g. the police). This processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject.
3.0 Protecting tattoos /Laser.
3.1 - Advanced Dermal Institute does not take personal responsibility for pulse light damages devices, or products that maybe caused by lasers during treatment.
3.2 - The consumer needs to take full responsibility to protect tattoos by adequate covering before arriving prior to their appointment on the day.
3.3 - The consumer must point out to the treating therapists where tattoo is situated on the body prior to starting the requested treatment on the day.
3.4 - Advanced Dermal Institute will not take responsibility to restore damages to/or for damaged tattoo’s.
4.0 Cancellations and Refunds
4.1 - Treatments/services are not transferable to other individuals or clinics of personal choice
4.2 - We require at least 24 hours’ notice to be given for any appointment date change or cancellation/cancelations made by phoning directly, Email or leaving voice message with full name and number.
4.3 - If you change or cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment date, or do not attend a booked appointment, we reserve the right to retain your deposit or apply a cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment cost
4.4 - In the case of pre-paid treatments, the full cost of treatment will be forfeited
4.5 - Refunds will be provided where required in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. If our service or product is faulty it may either be replaced or refunded.
4.6 - Our procedures and products may not be suitable for you and whilst all due care and skill is exercised in treating our clients ultimately it is your responsibility to determine if the product or treatment is right for you.
4.6 - For us to provide you with a great service it is fundamental that you provide all information requested in completing consent forms or advising us of any factors that may affect your treatments. You also need to have realistic expectations of the results of treatment. We encourage you to work with your therapist or health professional on what you can achieve with your treatment and future goals.
4.7 - Medical eliminations certificates are noted under our cancelation policy.
4.8 - Late arrivals may incur forfeiting sessions or no show without notifications will forfeits sessions.
4.9 - Covid - 19 related cancelations do not apply
4.10 - Cancelations may incur forfeiting appointments by failing to respond within a 24-hour period
4.11 - No refunds on used packages prior to already receiving treatment from Advanced Dermal Institute
4.12 - We do not accept returns on products or goods purchased through instore or online
4.13 - Medical certificates are required by the consumer due to medical complication, privacy and confidentiality are in placed to best protect your privacy.
4.12 - We do not provide refunds based on the consumers change of mind
4.13 - We do not provide refunds based on travelling/relocating overseas
5.0 Prepaid Treatment
5.1 - If you pre-pay for treatments you will save an amount according to the pre-payment schedule. There is no refund on pre-pays and they are not transferable to other individuals, treatment areas or clinics.
5.2 - Pre-pays have a 12 month expiry date (min one or multiple treatments) or an 18 month expiry date (min one or multiple treatments)
5.3 - 24 hours’ notice is required for any pre-paid appointment cancellations. If you cancel a pre-paid appointment within 24 hours, or do not attend the appointment, the treatment will be forfeited.
5.4 You agree to these terms by purchasing pre-paid treatments.
